Preferred Electric, a single source provider for both electrical and low voltage services, is proud to be part of the construction team at the Adventist Cancer Institute in Hinsdale, Illinois.
This new $48 million, 54,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility will contain:
- Eighteen private treatment rooms equipped with entertainment centers and other high-tech comforts so patients can stay connected to work or home
- Five open patient bays, for patients who prefer to socialize in a group setting
- Imaging services, including all general imaging and women-focused imaging services like mammography
- Two linear accelerators
- Twenty-one exam rooms: patients can visit with their doctor or consult with a surgical oncologist
Bulley and Andrews is the general contractor on this project and partnered with Preferred Electric to furnish and install the following electrical systems:
- Lighting Systems – Interior, Exterior, Street and Automated Lighting Controls
- Power Distribution Systems – Building, Varian Medical Systems, CT/PET Room, and Radiology Room
- Uninterruptable Power Systems
- Fire Alarm System
- Telephone – Data Cabling System
- Security/Access Control System
- Nurse Call System
- Snow Melt System
- Master Antennae System
- Background Music System
Preferred Electric expects to complete this project on time and on budget with an anticipated completion date of December 2015.
