The NECA-IBEW Local 701 Labor Management Cooperation Committee or “LMCC” offers a wide range of services to both Union and Management members. One of the many services we offer is a Master Wage and Fringe Benefit Bond for the IBEW Local 701 and the program is managed through the PowerForward DuPage office by Lauren Mesich.
When an electrical contractor becomes signatory with the IBEW Local 701, they are given an application for the NECA-IBEW Local 701 LMCC bond. The LMCC Bond Fund was established back in 1996 and is 100% self-funded. A signatory contractor must obtain an unlimited Wage and Fringe Benefit Bond when working in the IBEW Local 701’s jurisdiction that guarantees its employees will be paid wages and benefits in the unlikely event the company defaults. The NECA-IBEW Local 701 LMCC provides this service at a very reasonable cost for the contractors with better protection for the union members.
The current LMCC bond application is available in the PowerForward DuPage office as well as the “Members Only” section of this website.
Any inquiries relating to the LMCC bonding program should be directed to the LMCC/PowerForward DuPage Director, Lauren Mesich at (630) 393-1701 Extension 5.
