Warrenville held its Independence Day Parade on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 and once again, the IBEW Local 701 along with PowerForward DuPage had a float entered in this event. With an outside temperature at least 90 degrees, I was worried there would only be a few members in attendance this year. But once again, the parade was well represented by the Local 701 with over (60) members, spouses and children in attendance. Everyone had a great time handing out candy and over 4,000 foam Frisbees were distributed to the spectators. At the end of the parade, a bus was available to bring our marchers back to the union hall.
