Meade Electric has launched their 2026 Scholarship Program to provide college tuition assistance to IBEW Local 701 members and their children. You do not have to be an employee of Meade Electric to apply. This scholarship is being offered to high school seniors or currently enrolled college or trade/technical students planning on attending a university, college, community college or trade/technical school.
The scholarship amount is yet to be determined but will be awarded in a single payment for one year and may be applied for again in each of the four years while attending school. Scholarship awards are to be used for tuition and/or fees, books, room and board expenses.

All applications with supporting documents MUST be postmarked by March 15, 2026 to be eligible for consideration. Please refer to the application form for judging criteria and eligibility requirements. Winners will be notified by direct mail.
