Our 28th Annual PowerForward DuPage Golf Outing was held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. The weather was absolutely perfect and a great time was had by all. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported and volunteered at this event.
I am very pleased to announce that this outing was completely sold out with (160) golfers in attendance and high sponsorship participation. Our groups consisted of IBEW Local 701 members, signatory electrical contractors, sponsors and guests.
A portion of the proceeds from the 50/50 raffle tickets sold during the outing are donated to the IBEW Local 701 Needy Members Fund which assists the members of IBEW Local 701 and their families in progressing through difficult times. Thanks to the generosity of our outing participants, we sold many raffle tickets again this year and were able to make a significant contribution to this fund.
