Over the past few years, the number of eligible Local 701 members has declined for the Annual Incentive Point Drawing. So instead of awarding (1) large prize to (1) member, we gave an award to each of the top (5) eligible members who have earned the most incentive points in 2025.
This year, each recipient was awarded a $500 gift card by our PowerForward DuPage Director and Department Head, Lauren Mesich during the Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner on Thursday, March 12th:

NECA-IBEW 701 LMCC/PowerForward DuPage established an Incentives Program back in 1996 to promote membership participation in continuing education and other activities that are a benefit to them and the electrical industry.
Incentive points are awarded to Local 701 members for participation in journeyman training classes, volunteer work in certain PowerForward DuPage sponsored activities, attendance at various union functions as well as blood donations and voter participation.
The requirements for eligibility in the PowerForward DuPage Annual Incentive Point Drawing are as follows:
- Must be a Local 701 member in good standing.
- Must have earned at least (12) incentive points during the current year or at least a total of (24) or more incentive points during the previous year and current year combined.
