Warrenville, Ill. – Fitzgerald’s Electrical Contracting, Inc., a member of PowerForward DuPage, is pleased to announce renovations are being completed on time for the 58 million dollar renovation project at Kishwaukee College in Malta, Ill. Working with general contractor Shales McNutt Construction, Fitzgerald’s is the project’s lead electrical contractor.
The first phase of the construction was completed on time for the fall 2013 semester on AB100 wing, which includes general classrooms, science labs, a new art gallery, a human resources department and the Adult Education and Transition Programs Department. Work has already begun on the B200 wing that will house the health careers departments and will create an Allied Health Wing for nursing, therapeutic massage, and radiology.
“Over the past 25 years we have developed a core group of employees who care about the quality of the product and have the training and experience to exceed expectations,” said Miles Henderson, project manager at Fitzgerald’s. “We are proud to be part of the construction team to help build and create a wonderful space for learning at Kishwaukee College, as this project will enhance student education for people in DeKalb County and the surrounding areas for years to come.”
The Kishwaukee College renovation project is anticipated to be complete in time for the start of the 2014 spring semester.
