Special Olympics Illinois Construction Team Picnic

Held at the IBEW-NECA Technical Institute in Alsip on Saturday, September 16, 2023 and coordinated by McWilliams Electric Company, the annual event included face painting, tattoos, food and music for many Special Olympians and their families! The picnic raises funds for athletes within Illinois’ Region E, which includes Will, Grundy, Kankakee and Southern Cook Counties, which helps offset their costs to participate in the annual Special Olympics Summer Games.

PowerForward DuPage has been a proud sponsor of this annual event since 2013 and this year, there were over (200) athletes and family members in attendance with over $20,500 raised in donations.
