Congratulations to the IBEW Local 701 Women’s Committee! The Committee was awarded their charter earlier this summer, becoming the 4th women’s committee to receive a charter in the IBEW’s 6th District. Committee work includes the Local 701 winter coat drive, volunteering at the 2019 DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo, serving as guest speakers at local high school college days, election phone banking, and installing holiday light displays at the 2018 Naper Lights at Naper Settlement among other various activities.
