Fitzgerald’s Electrical recently completed the renovations to the Downers Grove Public Library. A Strategic Plan was announced in 2012 that included a building renovation scheduled for 2014. The $2.66 million renovation plans called for more study spaces, upgraded technology, improved WiFi, enhanced display of items, and a cafe space that welcomes food and drink. The new interior will also have a new space for science, technology, engineering and math.
Fitzgerald’s Electrical worked closely with Shales McNutt Construction and many other respectable contractors to complete this project on time and on budget. The library remained open throughout the construction project requiring much coordination and planning with the owner and other trades. Next time you are out in the area, stop by the Downers Grove Public Library to see the renovations or pick up a good book!
Over the past 25 years Fitzgerald’s Electrical has developed a core group of employees who care about the quality of the product and have the training and experience to exceed expectations. We are proud to be part of the construction team to help build and create a wonderful space for learning and acquiring knowledge at the Downers Grove Public Library, as this project will enhance the community in Downers Grove and DuPage County for years to come.
