Our 26th Annual PowerForward DuPage Golf Outing was held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Bloomingdale Golf Club. Even though it was a rainy day, a great time was had by all. Thank you to everyone who attended, supported and volunteered at this event.
I am very pleased to announce that we had (160) golfers in attendance with record high sponsorship participation. Our groups consisted of IBEW Local 701 members, signatory electrical contractors, sponsors and guests.
A portion of the proceeds from the 50/50 raffle tickets sold during the outing are donated to the IBEW Local 701 Needy Members Fund which assists the members of IBEW Local 701 and their families in progressing through difficult times. Thanks to the generosity of our outing participants, we sold many raffle tickets again this year and were able to make a significant contribution to this fund.
