Cattaneo Electric recently provided the outdoor parking lot lighting for the Friends of the Forest Preserve’s Night for Nature event. The popular fall event was held at St. James Farm in Warrenville on September 17th, 2026. A Night for Nature is an annual fundraising benefit to celebrate the beautiful wild areas and beloved wildlife of the DuPage County forest preserves. The event starts at 5:00pm but concludes at 8:00pm, after the sun has gone down.

Cattaneo Electric lit up the parking lot space using two 400-watt lights and one 1,000-watt light, which guided the more than 250 attendees back to their cars safely. The lighting made the evening welcoming and memorable, while supporting the work of the Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County.

Special thanks to first year DuPage JATC apprentice Joe McDavid; 4th year apprentice Angel Elizondo; and IBEW Local 701 journeyman Bryan Dvoracek for your time and expertise.
