Fitzgerald’s Electrical Contracting, Inc. has recently completed the first phase of additions and remodeling at Hinsdale Central High School that includes a new 35,000 SF aquatic center, classroom upgrades, renovations to the Building and Grounds facility, a new 250kW natural gas generator, new 4160V distribution system upgrades, fire alarm and life safety system infrastructure upgrades, and new LED lighting enhancements.

The  new 2 story aquatic center is a state-of-the-art facility with 10 competition swim lanes, a high-resolution video board, new on deck pool timing system, a custom light truss system around the perimeter of the pool, high performance pro sound AV systems, and architectural LED lighting and relay-based lighting controls throughout. This facility consists of new locker rooms, pool natatorium, spectator seating, concessions, restrooms, lobby, and coaches’ offices.

Fitzgerald’s Electrical is currently working on the Phase 2 additions and renovations consisting of a new Student Services Addition, a new Fine Arts addition, new grandstands and press box, additional classroom and special education renovations, and further life safety upgrades. Phase 2 construction will be completed in December of 2021.
