The children of IBEW Local 701 members were in for a glorious holiday surprise at the recent Kids Christmas Party…a visit by the big guy himself and Mrs. Claus! Bringing loads of holiday cheer, Santa and Mrs. Claus greeted everyone with a hearty “Merry Christmas!” from the second floor of the IBEW Local 701 Hall before descending the stairs into the excited throng of children.
Party goers also were entertained by the The Frog Lady, who brought plenty of reptiles and amphibians to shock and delight all in attendance. Face painters created winter fairies, reindeer, and other whimsical holiday characters through their artistic face painting techniques. There were balloon animals for the children and plenty of refreshments, including Dinky Delights, on hand. Santa and Mrs. Claus posed for pictures and took time to listen to every child’s Christmas wish before slipping away, leaving presents for all and wonderful memories of the day.
