PowerForward DuPage was proud to host a Public Construction Workshop on June 24, 2013, presented by Construction Industry Service Corporation (CISCO) in partnership with the Illinois Department of Labor (IDOL), the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, and the Indiana, Illinois, Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting (III FFC). The workshop focused on providing information and discussion on Prevailing Wage, the Employee Classification Act, the Freedom of Information Act and the benefits of Responsible Bidder Ordinances. Contractors, building trades personnel and public employees were able to get their questions on these topics answered by a panel of experts.
