Earlier this month, Santa himself and several board members from Santa’s Christmas Charities were honored to distribute $13,500 to three deserving children’s charities: Almost Home Kids, Cal’s Angels, and Gigi’s Playhouse Fox Valley during a check presentation ceremony at the IBEW Local 701 Union Hall in Warrenville. Donated funds were raised during the 2023 Santa’s Holly Jolly Sleigh Tour.

Santa’s Holly Jolly Sleigh Tour is a one-float, grassroots parade that got its start during the pandemic in 2020 and has continued every holiday season since. The tour runs 12 consecutive nights along 12 routes and travels through more than 80 Naperville neighborhoods and is powered by Team Doyle Hulsey (TDH) CrossCountry Mortgage, IBEW Local 701, The Branch Moms Community, the Career & Networking Center, CoDo Marketing, and PowerForward DuPage.

“I couldn’t have imagined that what started as a way to bring Santa to kids during the pandemic would result in three children’s charities each receiving $4,500 just a few short years later,” said “Mortgage Matt” Doyle, aka Santa. “Giving back to the community and helping kids is what Santa’s Christmas Charities and Santa’s Holly Jolly Sleigh Tour are all about. Whether sponsoring, donating or volunteering time, it is truly humbling to see the businesses and individuals from across Naperville step up to help.”
