Plug into Powerful Cost Saving Solutions

Please take a moment to view some of Continental Electrical Construction Company’s versatile work from their Energy Solutions Division.

Continental’s work with electric vehicle chargers can be seen at Uncommon Ground’s parking lot in Rogers Park. In the Friday, June 28, 2013 Chicago Tribune article “Basking in green-tinted glow”, you will find a photo of a well-placed “Continental” sticker.

Continental has been hard at work installing energy-related solutions for customers including:

– Electric vehicle chargers (over 150 so far) for customers opting to reduce emissions by choosing electric or hybrid vehicles (pictured)

– Solar PV solutions for companies such as Walgreens and IKEA

– Lighting retrofits and lighting control to reduce consumption and provide better quality lighting

– Providing customers with BUILDINGWORX, a software solution that optimizes energy and space utilization.

Utility rebates, tax incentives, and financing opportunities are very attractive and exist to bring these projects to fruition. Last week Mayor Emanuel introduced Chicago’s Building Energy Use Benchmarking Ordinance that, if passed, will require 3,500 commercial, residential, and municipal buildings larger than 50,000 s.f. to track, verify, and report energy consumption using ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager software. Continental has the experienced team of designers and installers that can assist you in making your building stand out as one of the prime “energy-friendly” facilities on the market.

Continental would like to be of service with your energy needs. Visit Continental’s profile and contact Brian Haug; Energy Czar or your current Continental contact if you are looking to make energy advancements at your facility.
