For the first time in (29) years, golf was canceled during our outing on Saturday, August 1st due to inclement weather. While it was disappointing that our (200) registered participants were unable to enjoy the course, we were deeply grateful that more than (100) attendees still joined us for the luncheon, stayed through the rain, and helped turn an unexpected challenge into a meaningful day together.
Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and sponsored this event. Your generosity, patience and good spirit truly carried the day. I look forward to seeing everyone again at our outing next year under better skies.
