Close to 400 people attended the 2022 DuPage County Trade Apprenticeship Expo on Thursday, November 10th, 2022! The event was generously co-sponsored by the DuPage County Building & Construction Trades Council and CISCO (Construction Industry Service Corporation) and held at the IBEW Local 701 Union Hall, home to PowerForward DuPage.

Attendees had the opportunity to connect with thirteen of DuPage County’s building and construction trade organizations and to learn about each organization’s apprenticeship program. Congressman Bill Foster also stopped in to offer his support for the event and talked with many students, parents, and trade affiliates.

One parent commented, “We met with a number of trade professionals who gave my son the understanding that there are many options when looking at the trades. And it is always great when they can see how something works “hands on.” My son was more excited about possible careers after we left than he was on the way in”! Another shared this, “I’m very thankful we were able to attend. Great event and I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND it for others in my family next year”!
