Earlier this month, the IBEW Local 701 hosted the 2021 Children’s Drive-Thru Christmas Party, complete with individually wrapped treats and presents straight from the North Pole! As the cars entered the lot, kids of all ages stretched their necks, rolled down their windows, some even popped up through the sunroof to catch a glimpse of the man himself, Santa Claus!
And he did NOT disappoint! Santa safely greeted each child, even knowing some of their birthdays, which made them giggle with delight. He also gathered up their handwritten letters and posed for pictures. One fan even brought Santa a miniature…Santa!
Thank you to the IBEW Local 701, the IBEW Local 701 Social Committee, Santa and his elves, and all the volunteers for creating another safe, socially distanced drive-thru event for the members and their families this year.
