The holidays are going to be a little brighter for the children at Little Friends in Naperville. Earlier this week, Business Representative Bob Perreault and Organizer John Roti, both with IBEW Local 701, dropped off two very large boxes of toys for children of all ages!

Each year, the IBEW Local 701 hosts their annual Christmas Party and occasionally not all the presents are claimed. Local 701 decided to donate the remaining gifts this year, a total of 62 in all, to Little Friends. The Naperville-based agency empowers children and adults with special challenges to live, learn, work and thrive in their communities.

Little Friends President and CEO Mike Briggs was on hand to accept the toys, as was Vice President of Agency Advancement, Renee Miklosik (not pictured). Both were extremely gracious and appreciative of the donation.

Founded in 1965, Little Friends has grown to a multi-faceted human services agency operating three schools, vocational training programs, community-based residential opportunities, and the Little Friends Center for Autism, a valued resource for diagnosis, comprehensive evaluations, therapies, and trainings for parents and professionals. Little Friends serves more than 800 people each year throughout nine counties and 45 school districts across northern Illinois and Indiana.
