Preferred Electric collaborated with The Opus Group to build the new headquarters for the American Academy of Pediatrics, located in Itasca, IL.
The new five-story, 183,000-square-foot office building features a reflective roof, extensive day lighting, and a colorful, light-filled design with transparent fins radiating from each facade. In addition to work space for the Academy’s 455 professional staff members, the building includes an expansive conference center to host meetings for the Academy’s physician members.
The Opus Group put their trust in Preferred Electric to furnish and install the following electrical systems:

Successfully completed in late 2017, Preferred Electric worked closely with the general contractor, owner and sub-trades to complete this project on time and under budget.
